ok so heres my3 ?'s i have a 05 f4i have front and back signals new to put on i have LP rear stubby CF ones for the back....problem with that the wires on the signals have just these lil brass nipple things with holes on the ends do i just snip the existing wires on the bike and put them in and clamp it off?????

second how the @#$@ do i put the front ones on the bike is deciding to be very difficult with me and not letting me work on it.................do i really have to take apart the whole front end to do this???


3rd and final question how do i shave down the seat?? im short lowered the bike 1" want to sit a tinnnny bit lower help plllzz

oh ya anybody from the bay area CA done the signals before ona f4i and wanna help ill pay haha

 

1. clamp it down and put electrical tape around it, or go to radio shack and buy connectors for the other end to fit it in right (just clamp it, faster and you won't notice the difference).

2. take off the front end...gives you more room to work on it.

3. no clue, keep it stock...eventually you'll get used to the ride position.

 

RD...Tahoe knows best for the electrical. As far as the seat, if you want, you could probably have an upholstery shop do it for you. Another option is to get some riding boots with a little extra tread (gasp...Harley type boots.... They will help you to stand flat footed at stops, if that is the issue.

 

ya thats the issue with the seat is stops but i just resolved it 2003 tail conversion BYEBYE BANNANA SEAT!!! and as far as the tail lights go thanks that helps alot i figured thats what had to be done because i did that on taillights for my car. hey tahoe the flush mounts i have are supposed to clip right in is it really that simple?

 

i don't know what type of flushies you have. the ones i messed with fit but required some trimming with a dremmel of the fairing. it's all about getting creative with it.

too bad you posted this now...i was in bay area from saturday to tuesday and could've fit you in for a tahoe hack job special! muahahahhaha

 

rd, could you post the wiring colorscheme for the rear lights? i accidentally disconnected mine while working on my bike

 

you dont have to take off the front to wire in the turn signals just the sides

 

ya the green was negative and the other i think orange is positive
