I saw some crap at the flea market that might help. It's like an aluminum welding rod that you apply with a small propane torch. Kinda like aluminum solder. Supposedly its machinable, the guy had repaired a broken tab on a carb, filled in some gouges on somethin and even welded a pop can back together. I was impressed but question the strength of it, of course the SALES guy assured me it was reliable, but like the saying goes "how can you tell if a salesman is lying?....his lips are moving" lol. I almost bought some just for the hell of it, but I have no need for it (yet). Anyways if you can find any and use it you wont even be able to tell its been repaired
