Default Just found out I'm missing another important piece.

As I was doing my rear brakes I noticed that the bike I bought does NOT have the rear brake light switch. Anybody got one laying around that I can beg/borrow/steal/buy from you?

DIG THIS!!!!!
I was stripping down my 1982 GL500i Silverwing (I'm parting it out on Evilbay) and I noticed that the rear brake switch looked a lot like the one that is supposed to go on my CBR. except for the quick disconnects they are identical. I crimped some aftermarket bayonet connectors into the wiring on the switch and the CBR and lo and behold it works. Not only that but the wiring on the two bikes is color coded identically. You can't beat a company that knows a good thing when it has it and leaves well enough alone.
Let this be a lesson to us all. Honda doesn't change a good thing unless it needs to. they have been using that same rear brake switch for 30 years. you can get them cheap on ebay if you know what you're looking for.
