Default manual cct fitting

Hi

Hoping to fit the manual cct this weekend. Is there anything I need to look out for? someone said wind it out first? Does that mean to make the rounded bit longer then to screw it in?

thanks

The rounded part goes against your cam guide, so you want that "rounded" part as close to the base of the cct as you can get it. That said, the further away the nut is from the base (the opposite side of the rounded part), it'll make it harder to work with the space between the motor and frame so you'll need to play around with it to get it to fit. Just make sure you use a new gasket.

Ok so i spent about 3 hours messing around with this on the weekend!!

i cant seem get the old one out. ive had the airbox off and the tank but think I may need to get the throttle body off too. its come to the point where im getting a bit pissed off with it to be honest (the a video on the forum facebook cbr600 owners uk). there very limited space in there so struggling a bit. if anyone fancies giving me a hand or sorting it there is cash involved !!

Im in Bracknell , mobile is 0751 999 7241

Many thanks

Andy
