Hi new to the forum and cbrs.....recently got ahold of a 01 cbr 600 f4I it had melted the starter solenoid and a lil of the harness I put a new harness in it but as for the solenoid can u actually got with a standard style soleniod or must I use the magnetic relay deal??

 

Well, pretty much any type of relay/solenoid will work, so long as it can handle the amperage that's running though it. It's a 12v relay with really heavy contacts. They all do the same thing.
