lowering link
i just pruchased a lowering link for my 98 900rr and it is of a reputable brand. I recieved the link in the mail and when i went to install the link, my stock collars would not fit in the bushing holes. Called the company and they had me ship part back to them so they can mic the holes, he said the holes are the correct size. Sent my collars to them, they had to press the collars in they said. My concern is why would Honda use needle bearings in the stock link if the collars did not pivot? I asked the company why they use oil impreg. bushings if the collars have to be pressed, WHAT IS THERE TO LUBRICATE IF THE COLLARS DON"T MOVE? I am really concerned about wear in the pivot points, or even worse failure of the part while riding.

that wont work for my bike. i called the company AGAIN and they told me to send everything back and they will machine down my collars so it will spin inside of the bushings in the link.
