the key code comes on the key chain when you buy the bike, if you bought it new. hot wiring it wont blow the cdi. all the locks on sport bikes are for honest theives. but if someone really wants past that lock, it doesnt take much to do so. there should also be a key code in the gas cap. you have to uninstall the whole gas cap assembly to get to it though. Ive been a locksmith for about a year and a half and bikes are some of the easiest vehicles to make keys for. oh and yes you need to have your title and all that ish for liability reasons

 

like I said I firured it out and it is possible without blowing your cdi. But it is a pain in the ***. I just wanted to install a two way alarm that way my remote will page me up to a 1 mile. and i still have a starter kill threw the alarm I am sorry I only have IG as my name but thats what I go by. Im in the middle of custom paintin it so I will get pics when its done

 

so why not install the alaram AND keep your key ? just doesnt make alot of sense but what the hell its your bike , do what you please
