8 ohm 20 Watt resistor. $2.49 at radio shack and you're done. I wouldn't waste money on a kit for buying basically the same thing.

Fry's Electronics has resistors for about a buck a piece in various resistances, with various wattage ratings.
Those freakin plug and play LED "fixers" get a laugh out of me every time... $2 in parts sold for $30? HAH seriously?
I've heard of people using 10 ohm resistors, 2 5 ohm resistors in series (keeps the temperature down slightly), 8 ohm resistors. Basically anything that will put a load on the flasher circuit. Just remember the resistors get wired in differently than the diagram above. You need to wire the resistors in parallel.

RE: LED BLINKER QUESTION???
I made my own blinkers with LEDS from SUPERBRIGHT LEDS, and resistors from Radio Shack. Type of resistor vaires with mcd and max volt of LED you use, so look for that.
I'm using 18000mcd whites, and 10000 mcd yellow with 220ohm resistors.
I'm projecting the white LEDs through a piece of amber acrylite (clear plastic) and they are blinding but about 1/3 faster blinking than stock. I also have the same setup built into the seat cowl- my front blinkers are behind the mesh under the headlight and also in the seat cowl, just for good measure. No one can say they didn't see my blinkers. For the rear, I am still working on it but hopefully will post pics soon-which will include all my lights on my 05 1000rr.
Dont let the numbers scare you. LEDS are cheap, so just experiment.

RE: LED BLINKER QUESTION???
ok guys i hooked up the resistor jus tlike the diagram above..only accept im not using the orangwire with the white stripe(runin lights) and it does the same thing before..but then if i touch the positive wire to my clutch lever or the ground wire it blinks like it should..but if i cut the bike on and off and try it again it wont do it..unless i make the positive touch somthing ground i guess..any sugestions??

RE: LED BLINKER QUESTION???
ok i figured it out yall..what i had to do was take the solid orange wire to the resistor..then run the postive wire from the led(yellow) to the resitor...and the take the ground wire(green) to the resitor..and the black wire fromthe led to the resitor..and it works normally..so i gues that was the parallel wiring..i had to stop and think for a min how to do it..but i was thinkin about how i wired my subs in my car...so its all good now..appreciate the help..but now ihave another problem (my idler) lol
