Default leathers for track day and general use

Hi All

I thinking about doing a track day so need to upgrade from my old textiles to leathers. I’ve been looking at two piece sets and found this.

Mens Leather Clothing Package 1

the price looks good and i do need new boots anyway. I wouldn’t be using the Hemet as I have a new shoei

I really don’t want to spend more than this.

any opinions or alternative suggestions?

Some track day organizers will allow textile suits in the novice group. Others have free loaner leathers for first timers. This lets you decide if you like track riding (you will) before investing in new gear.

Ill have to agree with this one. Its your life on the line and not worth buying cheap and ending with a skin graph... Sedici is a good quality set of leathers for reasonable price or Bilet... Look into those... I ride in a 2 peice black Sedici set I got for 300$

can you post some links to these as i've looks and cant really find any places selling them.

also I have found the same jacket and trousers on sportsbikeshop.co.uk and its a comparable price to an RST 2 piece RST Slice Leather Jacket - White - FREE UK DELIVERY

I was under the understanding that RST was a good entry level make. if this is the case why are the Richa ones being classes as "cheep"?

thanks for you reply's so far :-)

The pants an jacket looks like the track stars from built and the boots are the same as the sedici lugna boots. Maybe they are the same products with different names?

The price is listed in British £ so it comes out to about $534 American dollars, but it doesn't tell you the thickness of the leather.
Sold separately it is about $850.
