Default a very general discussion about spark plugs and life in general :-))

None bike stuff.

Just turned 100k on a set of Denso IK 20 iridiums i put in my s80
back in 2008 - still runs good no missing smooth accel.

Wednesday new set gets shipped in this time an AutoLite equivalent
@ $5.99/ea with a $3 rebate per plug (6) - Amazon

( I know how cheap can I be ! lol )

Kinda looking forward to posting a pic of these 100k iridiums when I
pull them

Anyone else run spark plugs for 100k ? or just old cheapskate here

Looking forward to the pictures Sprock.

I have a set that have done 54,000 km in the GTR 1000 but am still looking for a set of Iridiums under $14.00 a plug - for the CBR1000F - that we have to pay here.

You see, I'm tight too!

Cheers, SB

Possibly TBT, the Aussie Pacific Peso is dropping quicker than a Harlot's knickers after 15 Breezers

What??, is the lucky country not quite so lucky anymore?

Have those pesky Chinese stopped buying anything that you guys could dig out of the ground and send them in a ship?

Delightful turn of phrase by the way.

Mate, I've seen this coming for nigh on two years. I'm safely debt free and the only thing that will affect us, is the increased cost of buying goodies from the USA/UK or the cost of overseas travel. Vietnam is already paid for and USD already bought as a hedge against further falls in the AUD.

Also, hence the shift to the Grand Tour of Orstraylea next year.

You ain't wrong there, for the last few years the Aussie mining industry has been sucking up every survey graduate that Otago University could produce (around 80 a year). Last year they took none.

Luckily the Christchurch rebuild has seen most of them gainfully employed in this country instead.

KiwiJK's son has taken a hit as well, no longer commuting to Aus to work as a geologist.

You guys are clearly not as good at selling dirt as you used to be.

Ye of little faith. I'm sure your Gummint would be very responsible like ours has been, spending any windfalls only on historical apology payments and increasing welfare payments. Oh, and "green" incentives.

(I'm sorry, my right wing seems to have accidentally become unfurled. I will try and tuck it away before any further posting)

So... do you want the plugs or not?

If so, I'll get Sprock on it right away. LOL
