well yesterday i did my 600 mile oil change and figured i pick up some new silverstar bulbs. but when i was looking at my bike i couldn't really see how they come out. and didnt wanna start pulling and braking stuff. so if u guys cold help me a lil with how to install new bulbs and how to adjust the beam level cause i wanna run both. just point to the bolt and i'll go to work! thx

The bulbs are one of the few places I have not ventured to replace so I have not actually been there yet but if it were me and I didn't have the repair manual I would check with your MOM.

Your Motorcycle Owners Manual, LOL, I kill myself sometimes.

Actually I heard that corny joke this past Tuesday in the class room portion of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course that I have to take to ride on any military instillations even though I've had my endorsements since 1988. [:@]

yeah i just got done with the course about two weeks ago..pretty much every joke i rolled my eyes..and wanted to punch the lady sittin behind me in the face cause she laughed at every single little remark they made..[:@], yea i'll check the MOM..kinda kicking myself cause i had it out yesterday while doing a oil change. thx

Done mine - pull the left & right black blocks out, (they should just pull off with little effort) which sit in the middle of the circular rubber bits. Then pull the rubbers off. You should then see metal clips which hold the bulbs in place. You just push the clip then move it to the side so they should then lift up - the bulb should come out easily. When putting the new bulbs in watch what way they fit in as they will only go in one way (that bit is a bit fiddly). Then reverse all of the above. Hope this helps.
