Having problems installing lheadight bulbs
I have the manual but it doesn'st seem like I'm doing anything right. I'm pulling and pulling the dust cover and nothing. I can't unlatch the bulb connector and I feel like I'm going to break it. Are these picture anyway with a step by step. I'm not a do it yourself type of person but I hear it is easy. I moved the air duct cover out the way but do I need to take both of them completely off? I'm getting irritated[:@]
You need to take the exterior air duct "cover" off, its just a plastic peice (underneath the bars) held on by one or two bolts, and a few clips.
Then you need to remove the plug off of the bulbs. This may take some wiggling, but it will come. Be firm with it, but dont bend it. Then yes that dust cover slips right off. Easiest way is to pull on the tab (up or down, there are two) and it comes right off. Then that wire holding the bulb in: on one side of the bulb, it hooks under a tab...and swivels out. No need to completely remove it. Just press down and unhook. This is like many car light bulbs. Then the bulb should come right out, and you need to separate it from the 3-2 prong adapter. If its the first time its done, it may be tricky...but its not too bad. Then reverse everything, and you're done.
