Can I just ask if using 97RON petrol will do this?
ive only done 700 miles since buying the bike 6 months ago and have been putting 97 petrol since I bought it,but I’ve recently filled up with 95 and will fill a few more tanks to see if it improves and I can eliminate fuel knock

ive checked and listened all over the engine,all sweet top to bottom,it’s not loud,but can be heard once it reaches approx 35 and stops approx 70ish,if I restart a warm engine then I can’t hear it,but this rattle (similar to tappets on a car I suppose)is really bothering me as to what it is

I’m on the welsh border not far from Wrexham here
as long as my valves don’t go bang then I guess I’ll just get along with it,but strange how it’s started last few months. No oil loss or burning so can’t be the start of something serious,but will mention it the the mechanic when it’s mot’d on thursday
