I'm stripping my bike down and replacing pretty much everything because it was submerged during the recent hurricane. I am trying to remove the ignition because the cable that's attached to it was corroded, and I can't find just the cable part to replace so I'm just going to replace the whole ignition. It has two star shaped bolts and I keep trying to remove them but they don't want to come out. I sprayed them with wd40 and they won't come out either. Is there a certain way you have to remove the ignition? Or is there a way I can just purchase the wire? I looked on eBay and all I can find is the whole ignition. Thanks in advance!
