Default Idle issues at startup and map sensor code

Need help, Got my bike running finally and ran good for about 15 minutes, adjusted the idle down to 1200rpmand shut it down. Waited a few minutes and restarted the bike. On start up it went to 3000 rpm after a couple seconds it dropped the rpm to around 1200 and at the same time showed a 2 flash FI indicator for the MAP sensor. I assume the bike is going into a ecm default mode when it starts showing the code. Any ideas what might be causing this? Would a bad pressure regulator cause issues like this?

Thanks
Jeff

The map sensor is located on the left side of the bike if you are sitting on it just underneath the fuel tank or seat I can't quite remember. Sometimes the little rubber tube can fall off or it might have perished and will cause the bike to idle high. Make sure the tube is on correctly. If it is then it's prolly a faulty sensor.
