Default I Need some opinions

I just recently purchased a 2002 cbr f4i. It has about 18000 miles on it. I have the FI light blinking on it. It blinks twice and stops for a second and blinks twice agian... etc etc.. I start it up and thats when the light starts blinking (starts fine). I let it warm up and it drives okay (my throttle response isnt that great at 5000 rpms, not like my 2000 f4). Eventually as im riding the light will go off.

Now this is the thing... as soon as i shut the bike off and try and turn it back on the bike bogs down. If i hold the throttle at high RPMS the bike will stay started and my FI light comes back on.

So I got ahold of the manual for bike and jumped the wires like it told me to, and as I did so there are "NO BLINKS"- Meaning faulty EMC or bad MIL wire? Id hate to replace that unit, but i checked the wires and they seemed good. Maybe i jumped the wires incorrectly? But if someone experience could steer me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Im just not familiar with this model since my first bike was a 2000 f4.

Well if its 2 blinks i think on your bike thats the map sensor ( i dont have a manual for your bike, going off old memory so i could be wrong). I havent seen too many go bad, check and make sure its plugged in well, and that the vacuum hose that runs to the bottom of it is plugged in and the hose isnt kinked or have a hole in it.
