Default I accidently shorted the battery

Oops.. i knew this was going to happen, in my head i was thinking something was going to go wrong lol. Anyways because i was being lazy, i tried putting a battery charger on my bike, But i had to squeeze the (+) side between my tank, and a metal bracket. The battery charger was plugged into the wall and i touched the positive side to the battery, and it made a big blue spark. lol lazyness kills, so i just decided put my charger away.. anyways the bike started and ran fine, i thought it would blow a fuse. should i check any fuses to make sure they didnt blow?

No, you would not have to check the fuses. Electricity follows path of least resistance....so that big blue spark you seen... basically went from the (-) negative terminal to the (+) positive terminal. Its not good for your battery itself ... but it didnt hurt the rest of your bike electrically. The spark itself may leave a burnt spot on the metal where it jumped though. .. .

so i guess there is nothing to worry about except for a burnt spot on the metal?

For grins, throw a voltmeter on your bike while it is running and make sure it is still charging.

I have seen instances like this taking out the R/R...

Yeah, I'd probably check charging voltage just for the heck of it, too. You're probably 100% fine, tho, especially with the bike off.

I know I arc welded my intake to the hood of my car once with battery voltage.
That chit killed the car completely and screwed some stuff up. Even fried the distributor cap and rotor somehow.
