how to tell if I have 520 conversion already?
I have 15/45 on my bike. (bought it used)
My question is how can I tell if this is a 520 conversion or not? I'm using a AFAM rear sprocket part number 11509-45
Thanks for any advice/help

Hey Dirty,
Just measure it.
520 means 5 eighths of an inch between the pins and 2 eighths of an inch (i.e. 1/4") between the plates.
525 means 5 eighths of an inch between the pins and 2.5 eighths (5/16") between the plates.
And remember .... you only save 10 ounces by going to a 520.

Hey thanks man.
I checked the rear sprocket and it said AFAM with a part number (11509-T45). I checked and it is a 520 sprocket. So I'm assuming I have a 520 countershaft sprocket and 520 chain?
