Default How much for new brake pads?

My '01 929RR is starting to squeak a bit, think I need new brake pads in front... Anyone have a ball park figure on what it would cost? Keep in myinf the 929 has two front brakes (one on each side of the wheel)

Here are a couple pics of my new ride: (just bought 2 weeks ago)

check the pad's wear indicator (a groove like this |_| in the center of the pad itself) to see how much you have left. if it's low then change it. if not then you're good to go.
you may want to sand down the rotor and pads and see if the noise goes away.

Thanks Tahoe - the noise is very slight and not even every time I brake - just seems like it was early signs of needing new pads - I will look for the indicator when I get home - thanks!

price wise they average about 30 bucks per set. you need 2 sets for the front...so 60 altogether.

Tahoe - you think I should give sanding down the rotor a shot before I anti up for new pads? Can't hurt right, just lightly take off the top layer of dust, right?

just roughin them up. squeak doesn't necessarily mean bad...but it could.
do both the rotors and the pads.

if you do get new pads, you may want to just clean up your whole brake system, from extending the pistons one by one to clean all the gunk around it to flushing with new brake fluid. it will make your braking much better....not 100% better (cause that would mean stopping in 1/2 the distance) but much better.

muahahha...bring yo ****e over mang!
i don't do carbs though...and i'm good with scratches...i won't strip anything or round anything but i don't give rat's **** about scratches...ahahhah

light sanding mang...i do 600 cause that's all i have at home...and i'm cheap@ss so i don't go to the store to get other grit. i think 300 should work fine.
