How many chain links for 15/47 set up on 2004 CBR600F?
Hi.
So bored during UK lockdown that I have decided to do a job that I have wanted to do for a long time - change front and rear sprockets on my 04 CBR600F - from stock (teeth 16/45) to teeth 15/47 for more low down torque. I understand that the stock chain is 108 links so how many chain links for 15/47 set up? I think it is 110 but if anyone could confirm I should be v grateful.
TIA
KM

I've never consulted a book for this type of change. With the rear wheel all the way forward I remove enough links to get the chain tension about right, erring on the loose side. When the length is right, the adjustment, if any, will be minimal. With time, the chain will only get longer, not shorter.
