Default How easy is it to damage the sump?

Lets put it it this way...I made a HUUUUGE noob mistake and am willing to except all and any flaming.... I was doing my 2nd or 3rd oil change because I have been a bad bike owner and havent changed my oil in a loooong time....So the other day I decided "hey, I have some money, lets do a nice good oil change". Well I couldn't get the drain bolt to even budge. Stripped the bolt head so bad that it is pretty much a perfect circle...I did one of two things over-torqued the bolt last time i change the oil or negligently was turning the bolt the wrong way the first attempt at the change a few days ago....Went out to give her a shot again tonight...nothing, once again couldnt get it bolt to move....Used some pliers, cheapo vise grip, attempted with a socket wrench and still nothing....I decided to look at the manual and it said you can damage the sump very easily...What are my chance of coming out of this one scotch free?
