Just currious about the whole HISS thing.
I remember years ago I had a line on a bike for like $800.00 but the owner had lost the keys. I thought well not a big deal for that price, then found out that it had the HISS ignition and was going to cost like 1500 to get it sorted out (Had to be about 10 yrs ago now). I cant remember if it was an F4 or F4i I know it had to be one of the two since Ive never looked at any other bikes.

Anyone know which models of bikes had this in it? I was just starring at my keys waiting for some warm weather and got wondering about this.

Does the F4i have this security system or no? if so, all years?
Guess it will determine if my spare key hangs on a rack , or hangs out in a lock box. Who am I kidding , its in a lock box already but still, it would be nice to know.
