HESD & FI LIGHT ON?
Hey all-
I have a 2007 CBR600RR
I was just riding on a road to work at a pretty good clip (110mph- its a mile long private straight driveway to our plant). I hit a bit of a bump on the road right before some RR tracks and I let off the gas and pulled the clutch. Right then the HESD and FI light blip'd on for a second. The bump was a decent size, but nothing that would even lift the front tire up.I think it was just perhaps the ECU kicking in the HESD since I was at a high rate of speed and seemingly loosing control (far from it actually). Im a bit new to a FI light-
Is this something anyone has dealt with?
I ran the motor a little longer in all gears to check it all out- nothing wrong. Everything visually looks normal too.
thanks

hey egdcbr600rr...ive just experienced the same exact thing but only when im running my bike really hard...like for example: im in 2nd full throttle to about 13k then my bike just seems like the fuel cuts off and the fi light, and hesd light come on just for a quick second...but other then that it never does it...but my bike doesn't die or anything whenever this happens..and it doesnt happen all the time....have you found the problem?? any advice appreciated...thx

Im not sure what it would be. My bike has never done that no matter how hard I've ridden it. I would do a check to make sure all of your connections are secure, especially the main harness that runs into your uppper fairing.
It wouldnt be the HESD kicking in. Its always kicked in, meaning always on. its speed sensative and will increase in dampening as your speed increases, the bumps have nothing to do with it activating.
I would also check to make sure your gauge clusters plug is seated all the way.
