Default Help with slipon install

Need some help here. I'm installing a two brothers slip on system and am stuck at the point where you have to disconnect the power valve cables from the valve and the servo. Can anyone give any pointers? Also after its off and the new system is on will not having it cause any problems? Thanks in advance for the help!

There's a cap where the cables go to the flapper on the exhaust. Take this off (2 screws I think) and loosen up all the jam nuts that keep tension on the cables. Remove the cables from the exhaust end -- it's basically getting enough slack to get the barrels outta the holes.

Now look on the left side of the bike right behind the idle adjust **** -- the round thing hanging down is the servo. You should have enough slack to remove one side. Then just turn the servo so the other side is visible and remove the second cable. Easy as pie.

It's on! One more question....the directions said nothing about where to put the liquid gasket. Is it needed? If so where. It seems that everything is tight.

My 2Bros didn't have a gasket -- flanges were snugged together and no worries.
