Help, loud chain noise after I replaced rear tire
Check to see if any of your links in the chains are seized. Put the bike in the stand and start at the master link. You will need to wiggle every link up and down with your hands. If you find a link that's seized, time for a new chain.
i checked the spacers too but when i took the wheel off i put them in separate plastic bags and marked the bags right and left. but just to make sure took both out looked at them and they are the same. i tried reversing them anyways to see if it made a difference and it didnt. as far as the brake goes its seated properly. have a new chain, front and rear sprockets coming, so i hope that solves the issue. ill be posting again on Wednesday if it doesnt.
sp i pulled the chain guard and thats definitely not it. here are some videos of that it sounds like. it looks like the chain is bouncing upwards as it rolls over the front sprocket. i tried swapping the front sprocket around so that the sunstar logo is facing inwards to the engine , and the noise level went down a little but not much.
