Default HELP! Bike won't turn on.

Help! My bike sits with a trickle charger on the battery, and it had been about 3 weeks sincde I started it. When I turned it on , the lights came up but when I hit the starter, I heard a pop under the seat. Everything shut off. I have not had any power since. I checked all of the fuses, all of the wires for corrosion, and tried replacing the Starter Relay. Battery has full charge, but is not getting power to anything on the bike. Any thoughts or ideas?

Are you sure it's not the main fuse? (30A)
It's in a different area than the fuse box and sits all on it's own with the starter switch. It should be under the seat, just follow the positive battery cable... not sure which bike you're riding.

it is a 99 CBR600 F4. I have a 30A fuse on my Starter relay. But, the main fuse that stands alone off of the Positive post of my battery is 7.5a. I checked both of these fuses, and switched them out with new ones and no difference.

Ok... This is kind of wierd, but when I went back into the garage to double check after getting your response, I noticed I left my key on, when I was working on it, and now my bike smelt like rotten eggs (NO JOKE!).

thoughts?

Default Fixed!

Ilson Lad was right! I feel kinda like an idot. The misleading thing was that the battery showed power and was holding a charge so I did not consider it blown. However, When I turned the key on the battery lost all of its power. I replaced the battery and now the bike is up and running!

Thanks for your input!

I just had this problem the other day!! While I was out riding my bike just totally died and would not start back up. Before I came to a stop I heard a loud popping noise. When I looked down I saw a bunch of fluid dripping down from under the seat that too smelled like rotten eggs. When I realized the battery had blown, I replaced it with a new fully charged battery and now the engine won't fire up. Everything turns on, but the starter doesnt even make the "click" sound or even try to turn the motor. Even when I try to jump start the bike she won't turn over. Bad starter possibly? Any ideas anyone?
