I am new to this sport and am looking for a good helmet. I just wanted to see all the different opinions on GREAT helmets. Someone told me to look at the new scorpion helmets. Does anyone know how these compare to the arai’s? Money is not really a factor, but I don't want to spend 600 if there is something out there just as good for a cheaper price.

In my opinion, if you can spend thousands on a bike then it would be STUPID to not buy the best for your head.

Scorpion helmets are a good cheap helmet , they tend to be a little noisy and you get some wind in under the front of the helmet .
All in all I would give them a good review but if you have the cash go for the Suomy Spec-1R series , this will put you back in the $500.00 range but they are a very well made lid.
