Default Helmet Holders

Just bought a used 2009 CBR1000RR (non-ABS). I don't see any helmet holders underneath the rear seat, but the manual says it has them. The previous owner installed a fender eliminator kit, placed a fuel controller under the seat, and also purchased the Honda genuine rear seat cowl. I see two threaded "receivers" approx. 1 inch from the front of either side of the compartment. It looks like something was once screwed in there, but removed.

Are these where the helmet holders were? Since the seal cowl is the Honda genuine one, is there any reason for them to have been removed? Can I get replacements?

Thanks!

the helmet hooks (such as they are) are molded into the bottom of the factory pillion seat.

there are two machine screws toward the front of the storage compartment (from the pillion strap) that could be backed out a bit to hang the D-ring over, but the helmet strap wouldn't fit with the seat cowl anyway without some plastics modification. best bet is to find a solution elsewhere on the bike.

Ah, I should have looked at the passenger seat first. Thanks!
