hey guys about 2 months ago i went out to start my bike and the low beam and high beam blew out at the same time,, 3rd light stayed on.

i thought it was wierd but didnt think into it too much, went and bought 2 new bulbs. 55w same as stockers. had no problems till today..

today i was riding and my friend turns around and points to my lights and they blew out while riding!. what gives?
what are some things i can check? i apprieciate any help !

 

Sounds like your regulator / rectifier might be putting out too many volts
intermittently which would shorten bulb life dramatically, have your R/R
and charging system checked with a multimeter.
