headlight problem
This is wild, my headlights quit working, it's not the bulbs, fuse, or relay, all were replaced. The high beam indicator in the guages stays on, tried replacing switch, still no dice, any ideas?
Man, thats a lot of parts to change with no results. I feel your frustration dude, I am going though something similar myself. Looking at the wiring diagram there seems to be a lighting switch up there with the starter/engine stop switch. That Bl/R wire from the relay goes to that lighting switch AND the fuse box. It looks like the starter switch is a dual switch- when you press the switch it closes the gap for the starter relay, and at the same time opens the gap for the headlight relay...in overview:
Lo beam blue/white wire goes to 12 pin green harness which goes to 12 pin blue which goes to dimmer switch
High beam blue goes to relay, which turns to black/red, which goes to 12 pin green harness, which goes to mini 9 pin blue, which goes to starter/engine stop/lighting switch.
Hope that makes sense. Either way best bet is to check that starter/ engine stop/lighting switch- assuming the relay/fuses are ok new or otherwise.
