Hey guys,
I have 1988 CBR1000 and my headlamp has started cutting out on me. I thought that it went out altogether so i changed the bulb but now i've noticed that it is comes on at times but cuts out most of the time. Is this a wiring issue? what should i do?

 

sounds like a loose connection or a shorted wire.

 

mine was doing the same thing.. unplug the head light harness and you might see a bernt wire

 

check the wiring diagram and see if there is a headlamp relay. If so the contacts are most likely corroded or almost burnt up. Ive had this happen on my dual headlamp mod on the f4i and on my 71 superbeetle.
