hi all sorry if this is a dumb question but only had the bike a week , headlamp bulb blew on ride home tonight (scary on an unlit dual carrageway in torrential rain ) read the pdf about headlamp bulb change just need to get my head around taking the upper fairing lower panel off , do i just pull the little black jobbies holding it on or is there another method ,

anyone recomend a bulb that gives more light ??

 

before you take any of your fairings off, check your right hand controls. pop the top of it off and make sure everything is still soldered, theres a wire connected to the starter button that will kill the headlight if it comes undone.
if thats not it, then while youre at it i would pick up an HID kit.

 

Forgot to say that full beam is working fine just the dip beam is not working

 

job done was just the bulb however upon removing bulb found out why light was poor , 35w/35w bulb fitted ????
