I have a brakes issue. I am new to doing my own work, and don't want to do a lot of unnecessary work to my ride.
I got caught in a heacy rain and the next day the brake lever had a hard initial grab and then did not depress progessively as usual. Th rear break pedal does the same thing. Any ideas?

 

Since its both brakes, sounds like you got crud from the road, this should disappear as you use your brakes.
