Default gear shift issue

Hey , I have tryed in the 600f threads but to no luck so I will try again in general tech hopefully someone can give me some pointers so I can get this issue sorted thanks

Trouble is, it's the same people here as it was there :-)

Just one group on site, the different fora only split posts by subject.

Well the suggestion was that the two prongs of the spring are no longer parallel to each other. Can you confirm or deny this?

The spring should be a helix with the two ends parallel to each other with their ends about the width of the pin apart.

This is where I’m struggling to understand , so the small stud is where the 2 spring arms sit either side one is straight one curves but this is the shape of the spring , ?! Or am I missing something 🫠🫠

So this was it before and what I done was got that stud to the right to sit inside the two arms
