Default fuel injection light after slipon install

So I just installed my scorpion slip on last night. (Sounds incredible btw) but on my way to work this morning my fuel injection light came on. It was fine until I got over around 8k rpms. That's when it seems to come on. After shutdown and restart it goes away. My question is how do I get the light to go away?

What is the code flashing? I would start there. See if its something specific. Harder to say if its the more general No blink, light stays on one.

well its either a 33 or a 34, depending on weather or not you count the first fast blink. if you do count it, 34, if not, 33.

im sure it has to do with the removal of the exhaust valve for my slipon install, my question is how to i make the light not come on for a system that is no longer installed.

Is the servo motor connected to the butterfly via cables?

If so, you have to leave the servo installed and plugged in, even with the cables and valve not there.

The only thing I removed were the cables going to the valve on the stock muffler to facilitate the removal of it. I just tucked them away under the seat

If you rotated the pulley on the servo from its home position when you removed the cables it will cause a fault light to appear, even if the servo is still plugged in.

On my 1000RR the home position is when the notch is pointing toward the rear of the bike.

Ok cool. How do I access the servo? If I'm correct its in the box where the key goes to release the rear seat?

On my 1000RR you remove the seat to get to it. If it's a matter of the pulley not being in the home position just reach up and rotate it.
