i changed my filter for the first time on my bike since i owned it it has 6500km. the bike was sitting for like 6-8 months my buddy told me to drain the tank and put new gas in but i didnt listen ran the gas throught even to old owner told me to. my point is the filter had tonnes of think goldish brownish wet but powdery stuff gloggin the filter is it from the bad gas or does the bike have alot more kms than i think

 

It sounds like you have rust in your tank.
