Default front brake problems

I have a 03 cbr 600rr and i got ran off the road one day and every since then my front brakes don't work right. The thing is that when I'm riding and I hit the brake I have to pump it in order for them to work. I have taken apart the MC and bleed my brakes several times and the same thing keeps happening. What is the problem?

Use a vaccum bleader. It will waste less brake fluid and will take out the extremely small air bubbles in the line. After your done, use the zip-tie trick on your brake lever. If your not sure of what is, here's a quick explanation.

Every season (or as needed upon inspection) I replace the brake fluid. After I used a vaccum bleeder, I compress the front brake lever to the clipon (not like a death pull, but a firm pull) and zip-tie it. I leave it there over night as will slowly allow any minute bubbles to escape back up to the top of the master cylinder reservior.

Good luck and let us know how you made out.

Check you don't have a warped rotor. A warped rotor will knock the pad(s) back into the caliper, requiring you to have to pump the lever to get them to work.

You have a bent rotor man. A way to tell without lifting the front wheel spinning and checking rotor deflection is to pump up your brakes and then lightly apply brakes to enough to cause drag but still able to roll it. Push the bike and see if the drag is consistent. You'll start with slight drag and then it'll get harder then easier until you pull more on the level. Sort of a feel you have to learn but it'll tell you that there is a bent rotor. Now you'll have to find which one it is, if not both! And ebay some used rotors....a lot cheaper than 300 a pop for new ones.
