I am new to this forum and new to motorcycles my first bike is a 96 900rr its been laied down before and needs some love so far i have had the carbs and jets cleaned replaced the battery and still no charge i checked my R/R and it was melted into the harness i have a new one on order will be here tomorrow have a idea of how to connect it. but i dont know much about a bike at all so i have done research but for the life of me cant find the wires of my stator or where its at in general. can i test my charging system from using a volt meter on the battery alone? or since my R/R was fried whats the probality my stator is bad to and if so how do i check it where is it at and the works sorry i can work on a car all day a bike is a whole new world to me
