My bike is flashing code 14. I know this is a bad connection of some sort. The bike died on me a few times while riding last year. Usually it would start right back up. Once last year though, it would not start after riding for a while. I left it for a day and when I came back, it started like normal.

This spring, the bike started fine the first time I rode it. The second time, it started, ran for a while and then died before I even had it warmed up to go for a ride. After the bike sat for a couple of weeks. (I haven't had time to look into fixing it) I went out to try it. I turned the key on, I heard the fuel pump start up like normal....I tried starting it. It did not start right away, but after giving it a little throttle, it did start. I rode it a couple of times with no problem. I then washed the bike at the end of the night, and it would not start again the very next day.

Today, I turned the key on and the fuel pump ran fine again. The bike started, but died after a few seconds. The fuel pump will not start up and it flashed code 14 again.

Can anyone help me out? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
