So i just bought a 97 600f3 and i have a few questions

The chain is going to need replacement, i still have some more room to adjust it but would just like like it replaced before i start riding it. Any good suggestions on a chain or chain and sproket set?

It is rough starting when cold. It was about 60 degrees today and i just couldn't get her started. I had it on full choke and half. It was close to starting a few times then the bettery finally died... It was old and needs replacing. I still need to change the plugs, change the oil, check airfilter, clean carbs and drain and refill the gas (not sure how long it was in there) I have a good feeling after that i should fix it but any other possible things that come to mind?


I know a good amount about cars (went to tech school for it and just got a job as a tech) so i think a lot of it will help me with repairs on a bike.
