Default Fairing install and have a question

First off, I'd like to say Hello and thanks everyone. I'm replacing my fairings since the previous owner damaged one side and there's a connector on the left side that i have no idea where it went when i took them off. I've attached a picture of it. All the pictures i can find of this connector are with the fairings off... If anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it. Thanks again.

its either your ign connector, or one of your handlebar loom connectors, does your bike start and run?

BTW check your bike for recalls that make and year had a crankshaft recall on it.... take it to a dealer and have em run vin through hondas IN network

Thanks nuin ill ask the dealer to check on the recalls when i get the service done soon. It does run and start fine. I can put all the fairings back together, but it just seems this connector doesn't have a place it fits in. I went through the service manual and looked over fairing install pictures/videos and it seems they all show the connector after the fairings are removed. I just wish i could take a look at another 2008...
