How to install a new plastic tank fairing???

Default How to install a new plastic tank fairing???

hey guys i got one of those Chinese fairing kits from ebay and i installed everything exept the tank fairing.. my original tank seems like is all one piece.. tank and cover.. even the cover is aluminum.. but yeah back to the subject i dont know how to install the tank cover anyone run into this problem b4??

those things are junk and dont look right, i would just get your tank repainted to match.

its meant to just sit over your existing tank. leaves a gap by where the fill cap is. looks odd so thats why most people re-paint the tank instead

I have that also, it doesnot look bad at all. only when looking at it from the top, but if aligned well, you cant really tell. I would change mine, but the PO painted my whole bike with rhino line..i kno WTH right? So all my fairing are nice and new, but I didnt want a rhino lined tank with nice fairngs, looks horrific, and painting it is a bitch casue I have to strip the rhino liner. You have to get longer tank mounting bolts from home deopot to make it work. I would post photos, If someone can help me get my account upgraded!
