When I turn the key on, I get no response from the fuel pump. All my dash lights come on, as well as my blinkers stay on. It turns over, but no gas. Can anyone help??? Feel free to call me @ 510-432-4185, I am tired of the commute from Livermore to Burlingame, CA in my truck....lol

Reset the BAS.

 

Check the fuse for the fuel pump. Also check the kickstand switch, and make sure there's no bad connection on the engine kill switch.

 

turn sigs come on? Sounds like what i just did, HEADLIGHT RELAY.

Do your head lights turn on when its in the "on" position? I had same problem.

First, Check your fuses, see if any are bad... Find the headlight one, pull it out and try and start it... If it starts than replace the Headlight relay on the upper harness.

Second, Check to see if the pin with the green wire (headlights i believe) is corroded and discolored on your upper sub-harness.

The headlights do not come on when the key is turned to the ON position, I pulled the fuse for the headlights but it did not help. Where is the fuse for the fuel pump located?? And what is a "BAS"??

 

Still cannot start, can anyone help please??

So you went to the fust box located next to the battery pulled the first fuse (headlight) and it wouldnt start?

Did you check the connector from the upper sub-harness to the main harness?

Did you check to see if one of the headlights is burned out?

The no headlights makes me think that its the same problem i had...does it fire up and then just shut off?Check all other connectors also.

 

Pulled the battery fuse, nothing changed.

I need to pull the front fairing and see what is going on I guess.

It just turns over, but the fuel pump is not actuated.

 

Still no luck getting it started, I have called all over hoping someone has run into this problem before. I guess I am going to have to bend over and take it in to the shop, DAMN. [:@]
