Default f4i wiring help

Hey guys, this is my first post! I have an 07 1000rr and 07 600rr, but this is about my latest build, 03 f4i stunt bike. I'm making it street legal and I have an aftermarket headlight but I am missing the harness that goes from the big grey connector to the front of the bike. I have pulled up some diagrams but they show a headlight relay which I don't have. Is this necessary or can I just hardwire straight to the new light? Also, where is the horn wires? thanks

i dont think a relay is a must for being legal. but a swtich might overheat if you push all the power through it all the time. a relay is a good idea.
you can always get a heavy relay like 50A or something and push everything through the same relay, like your horn, all your lights, pump, ext. and just get seperate fuze for every part. thats how old school cars used to do it, you would have 4-5 relays for the whole car and fuzes everywhere. now a days there are as many relays as fuzes.
the down side to the old system was if one relay failed (unlikely but still possible) you would loose everything.

what ever you do, dont run everything off the ACC wire from the key. thats a sure way of killing it fast.
