i dont know about the kick stand thing because i can start mine with the kick stand down...........but i dont know if thats just mine

 

Having the same problem, Bike went down, finally got it started, was going to take it out for a ride, soon as I put it in gear it cut off. I figured the battery. Replaced the battery, still nothing. I haven't changed the plugs yet, I guess that's next. I just can't understand why it's not getting spark.

 

did u guys check ur bank angle sensor ive heard they get stuck sometimes or even the fuse

 

Banks angle seems to work fine, all my fuses are in tack.
