Hello, new member here! I've been trying to find info on this, but it seems i can only find answers to the opposite. i cant decide between a 2000 600 f4, or a 2001-2003 F4i. mainly due to looks, and fuel injection. I LOVE the look of the 2000 f4 (carbed), but i would prefer fuel injection of the 2001-2003 models, i just really dont like the way the 2001-2003 looks. now, what if i had a 2001-2003 600 f4i, what would i have to do to swap the fairings FROM a 2000 600 f4 ONTO the 2001-2003 F4i? if the carbs dont really give you much trouble on the 2000s, then ill just go with the 2000.
SEPARATE QUESTION
on either bike, what are the best ways to give the bike more clearance for cornering, ive read that the exhaust and pegs tend to scrape when the leanin gets real low.

 

I dont know about the fairings question, but the stock rearsets on f4i are horribly low definitely first to swap out for clearance. Dont know what exhaust you have
