Did you get you brake light working?

There is a switch on the front lever and a switch on the rear pedal. See if they work with either switch. The front switches do go bad, and the rear switch can gum up and stick more than the spring can pull. But re-check the bulbs too.

ahhh, okay. I'm in the Champaign area...maybe if i have time i could help with your brake light situation. I just wired my integrated brake light and finally got the foot brake to work properly too.

I had similar electrical issues with my F4i when I bought it. It had been wrecked by a previous owner and he did a horrible job wiring the harness. My head lights and brake light were wired to the turn signal relay on the left side so they would all flash together when the left turn signal was turned on. I would trace the electrical system through the harness and make sure everything is on the right circuit and that every circuit has the proper fuse.
