ive got all the parts that i found scattered on ebay, but i am wondering if i will be needing new subframe/tail fairing bolts? has anyone done a conversion on here before? can u reuse the same bolts from the banana seat tail on the new one? thank you in advance.

 

I am in the middle of a conversion right now. I don't have a banana seat but I bet its close to the same stock fender assembly. If you send/post pics I can probably help more. I'm also in the middle of creating detailed pictured instructions since the supplied instructions from the manufacturer are complete crap.

Anyway, for mine, I still keep on about 80% of the stock fender. I trimmed it right behind the back bolts so you still use those to hold it in place.

I'm going to attempt to attach 2 shots of how that worked with this so hopefully you can get an idea.
