Question about rr tail conversion
im having issues with the seat alignment it seems like the seat sits way to high on the tank or way to low. does anyone have any pics they took whil htey did the conversion ? t
this is what ive got so far and im kinda of confused i feel the seat should sit up higher but than there a pretty large gap under the seat. any help would be appreciated

What year RR tail are you going with? I used the 03-04 tail. this is how mine sits.
All i did was make a bracket to go from side to side so the seat can hook into the front. The back bracket is purely for support. I have the tail mounted to a stock 600rr latch which holds the rear of the fairing tight.
I bent 2 brackets into an L shape and mounted them to the stock subframe and bolted the 600rr passenger/solo cowl latch to it.
All i did was make a bracket to go from side to side so the seat can hook into the front. The back bracket is purely for support. I have the tail mounted to a stock 600rr latch which holds the rear of the fairing tight.

lots of welding but its all secure i plan on making a "trunk" space out of fiberglass in the rear and using that as the undertail section. i still need to remount the battery box after some trimming. anywhere i can get the rear seat cheap?? thanks a ton ill have my bike out for the first time on sunday if all goes well.
