Ok i talked to my electronicsproffessor and he said instead of the diode as in this diagram, i would need a relay instead.

Does anyone know the part# for the relay that comes off the f4i ?

Pretty much im going to wire my bike just like the digram for the f4i.

 

I know their is someone on this forum who has done this mod, is their anyone who can tell me way to make this work. I just want my f4's headlights to work as the f4i's do.

I e-mailed my local honda dealer but their asses when i go in with question or to purchase parts so im not expecting much help out of them.

Check out the parts finder on carolinacycle.com they have stock part #s of everything for all years so that would be a good place to check out

 

I looked up the blow up parts diagram, but its the same one as from bike bandit. None of the relays are labeled headlight or anything like that..

The only relay that may be right is Part # 17 which is just a (20 amp) relay. Would i be able to use just any other 20a relay with 3 wire positions or will i have to buy this one?

No electronic guy or gals out their with info ??

 

Sounds like its just a simple 20amp relay then, never dealt with this so Im just tryin to show you the light my friend.
